Many insured’s claims were denied.  Due to the fact that it was categorized as a flood, which is a separate coverage. The majority of flooded homes in our area had water in their basement due to the backup sewers and had no coverage.

We at A Biz Action Insurance Agency made sure that every one of our Homeowners were covered for that type of loss. The cost of that coverage is only about $30-50 per year. All our insured were covered because they had coverage of back up sewer at that time of the loss.  Our insured were very thankful for the advise we had given at the time of the new or renewed policy.
